You survived pregnancy, put tons of research into your baby registry, made it home and realized you are responsible for a beautiful life. You know your baby is supposed to sleep on their back and to feed them but what else is supposed to happen during those coveted awake times? What does play look like for a newborn?

From day one, we are providing input that will contribute to your child's development in all areas of life. We want to create an environment conducive for growth and exploration. Every small milestone is a stepping stone for bigger movements.

Each skill is important and we don't want to allow our littles to skip steps.

Dr. Kelsey Baas PT, DPT

Kelsey Baas received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern after receiving her Bachelors in Spanish at Baylor University. Through her experience as a clinical specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital she realized the value of a multidisciplinary team approach to health and wellness as well as the importance of individualized care.

Kelsey has worked over a decade developing a practice that focuses on quality of life and obtaining independence in movement for all ages.  She is additionally BSPTS certified, a Schroth based method for the treatment of scoliosis. In 2017, Kelsey saw a need for this individualized approach in Central Texas and opened Compleo Physical Therapy & Wellness to bring a multi-disciplinary approach to Waco for families and individuals looking to move and feel better.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Baylor Bears, attempting to learn mahjong, and traveling. Her community involvement includes serving as a Waco Moms Blog Contributor, Extraco LINC Advisory Council Member, Mission Waco Physical Therapy Volunteer, providing free scoliosis screens to local schools, Hewitt Library Volunteer, and other local service commitments.

"The Little Rollers Class was invaluable for me as a first time mom! I was totally clueless as to what I should/should not be doing to help my baby develop the skills he would need to hold his head up, roll, and later crawl, pull up to standing and walk. Kelsey's approach was extremely effective. There were not only handouts, but we actively went through each exercise in class with one on one attention. I Learned so much I would have never known to help my baby meet milestones and even be ahead for some of them. I will always recommend Compleo's classes for friends, family, and anyone who will listen!"

"We took our 6 month old to the little rollers development class and learned a ton! Our girl wasn’t rolling over yet and the pointers that Kelsey gave really helped us help our girl learn how to roll. Next thing you know she’s rolling over and getting on her hands and knees ready to crawl. We loved the developmental class, it really taught us things about our daughter’s growth and how we can help in it."
